If only Perspective is used without Vision - does auditing make sense

Normally Vision is for control so auditing would make sense but can you see any use cases when only perspective is used?

Sure. Ignition can certainly do Supervisory Control with Perspective, and such should be audited. (I mean, that's the "SC" in "SCADA".)

Vision has major advantages for on-machine HMI tasks, but that isn't actually "SCADA".
