[IGN-13209] Identity Provider Badge Login Save Error

Hi Everyone,

if I add a new identity Provider and check the Box for Badge login, I cannot safe.

This is the error message, which I recieve.

Only if I also check de Badge Secret I could save. Afterwards I can uncheck and save again. It don’t work only if I create a new idp.

This was a known issue heading into release, but we could not get it fixed before 8.3.0. We have resolved this issue as part of the upcoming 8.3.1 release. The internal ticket includes a workaround:

Create the Identity Provider with both Badge Authentication method and "Badge Secret" enabled and then edit the Identity Provider to disable the "Badge Secret" setting after.
