Using 8.3-Beta 1, I created a SAML2 idp named CorporateSSO and did a successful login test. However, the idp is not available in the list of providers under General security settings so I can't actually use it. I double checked that the idp is enabled. Does 8.3 require something different that 8.1 did not or is this a bug?
If you delete the currently filled in IdP name you should see all available options. With it currently filled in, a filter is being applied to the dropdown.
Ah! ok, Duh! The drop-down functionality has completely changed.

Perhaps not for the better... we'll have to see how many people this trips up.

This has tripped me up in several places where I've clicked the dropdown and only the current selection is shown. I like the idea of a filter, but I almost think a fixed combo list without a filter would be more user-friendly, especially in lists that won't normally be super long.
Maybe if an X is shown to the right to signify that the "filter" can be cleared to show all?

We have a ticket that is already in-progress to remove the "filtering" for these components, and fully expect that ticket to be part of the final release. Without the filtering being done, there would be no need for the X.
