[IGN-14185] Error when registering Email Address for "Username" field in the Identity Provider--> User Grant form

I get an error when trying to use my Email Address as the “username” field in User Grant form.
I have tried all lower case and wrapping it in quotes, but none have solved it.
If I use the GUID I am getting back from Entra for my “ID” field it works properly, but it rejects my email address for Username.

Just to clarify, is the email being used in the “Username” field in your user source? Or are you attempting to use the email attribute in the contact info for this user?

Regardless, I’m able to reproduce it using our 8.3.0 release candidate so I’ll get this investigated asap.

Apologies, the username parameter was bound to the email address field in the user data claim.

Is there an update on this fix?

The fix is targeted (and completed) for 8.3.1.
