[IGN-14186] Password Field component. No registered listeners or handler

Hi,

new user of Ignition here. I’m doing some testing around with the perspective module in Maker edition.

I’m trying to do everything right so I don’t get errors in the browser console.

I found that when including a Password Field in the View I get the following error:

"IconRenderersStore" cannot notify "material/visibility_off" state change. No registered listeners or handler.

I’ve tracked it down to being related to the “eye” symbol being visible: allowReveal: True

Is there something I may be not setting correctly in the element?

One week later I.m testing again and the problem disappeared. In the meantime the test gateway was restarted.

@martinmoncada.tree thanks for providing this info. We have an internal ticket tracking this issue.

I added several “Button” component with no text and an Icon selected from the library provided by ignition. I’m having the same warning with all of them. This time it didn’t dissappear after restarting the gateway.

This elements are inside a repeater, if this helps tracking down the issue.

Sorry for the confusion. It’s something we changed with icon cacheing in 8.3 to allow icons to work with Perspective’s offline mode. It’s nothing that you did, or can do. It shouldn’t affect the rendering of any icons in your project, but please let us know if it does.
