I have the Alarm Journal running, however, the Name and Label are the same. How can I get them to be what they are as in the Alarm Status?
Also, is there a way to add the active duration to the Alarm Journal?

This is something you configure at the tag level. If no Label is defined, it will use the name.
In the Tag Editor you can configure the Label property, and note that you can bind a value to it making it dynamic.
Actually, if you look at my 2 pics, In the alarm Status, they are different, as I am wanting, but in the Alarm Journal, they are both the same as the Name, and not the Label.
I have a DINT alarm that provides a different value ), 1,2,3,4,5 ect to the same TAG, so I set my mode to equal the call out that occurs
If the label is statically configured, it will not be logged to the alarm journal unless you tell the alarm journal to log static configuration: Alarm Journal - Ignition User Manual 8.1 - Ignition Documentation
That is odd. I was able to replicate the issue and I've opened an internal ticket to fix it. What Paul said.
Sorry to restart this thread, but what's the thought behind having this property set to false by default? To save on disk space? Since it causes this issue in the Alarm Journal control..
Ha, found a reason: memory concerns, of course. I don't think it's a good default, though. Maybe there should be a "tune Ignition for small systems" guide for those that want to turn off all the most performance draining knobs.
