[IGN-686] - Return to application from Login Screen

Unless I am missing a setting anywhere the only way to return to the application after attempting to login is:

1. Login successfully
2. Use the browser back arrow

Problem is, if I am in a broser in Kiosk or Full Screen mode I have no way to navigate “back” in the browser and I am stuck on the login screen if I don’t know a successful login or if I just want to cancel logging in?

Is there a setting I’m missing? If not, can something be done to be able to navigate back to the application that was running before the login screen was triggered?

I asked the same thing a while ago and it looks like a feature request was logged.

Hi, We have large touch screen monitors running a full screen Perspective page, with no keyboard attached. The issue that I have is that if someone touches the login button, the Ignition idP page is presented and the only way out seems to be a successful login. These applications do not require authentication as everything is read only until login. This means if an unauthorised person touches the login button, they cannot cancel. I see an "EXIT LOGIN" button to the bottom right of the login page on version 8.1.27
