Ignition 7.8.2 => 7.9.4 Upgrade

Is it straight forward?

thanks

Pretty much. If you have a redundant pair, you’ll have split brain after the first one comes up on the new version. Do make sure your license is compatible with all of the 7.9 versions of your modules. You should stand up a VM with 794 and the same modules you are using in production, and check every one of them against your license. If any aren’t covered, contact your salesperson to get the license fixed, then refresh your license (before upgrading).
If you are using any non-core modules that need updated versions, you’ll be prompted during the upgrade when to replace those module files in Ignition’s install folder (at least, I was so prompted in a Linux install).
