Ignition 7.9 Changes not updated on all clients

Hi,

I am working on Ignition 7.9 vision. I have published some changes and I see that they are updated on my client but not all clients. I did try restarting the clients and its still the same. For testing purposes I have deleted the cache from my computer and the changes in designer also vanished. What am I missing?

Are you sure you're making changes on the correct gateway?
Do you have staging/publishing mode enabled?
What Ignition version is it exactly?

Hi Yes. We have one gateway with vision projects. Ignition version is 7.9.16. Tag changes stayed but the changes to windows disappeared. I made changes in the morning and by evening, the changes in designer disappeared.

I would:

  1. Upgrade to the latest 7.9 release, to ensure this isn't some known bug we already fixed
  2. Contact our support department officially if the problem is still occurring after upgrading.

Preemptive warning: You're on a version that's long since been out of support, and if there is some underlying bug that hasn't been fixed in 7.9 you're going to have to upgrade all the way to 8.1 to get a fix.
