Ignition 8.3.10 has just been released, and you can download it here. 8.3.10 includes several small optimizations and bug fixes, including:
The following default Extra Connection Properties have been added to PostgreSQL database connections:
-
autosave=always
-
cleanupSavepoints=true
This enables PostgreSQL connections to better handle PK (Primary Key) errors.
For Alarm Status and Alarm Journal Table components, the pager.initialOption property has been replaced with a pager.activeOption property.
This will give components more control over the count of rows that will appear per table page. With this change, the Alarm Journal and Alarm Status tables have the same property as the Perspective Table component.
In 8.3.10, loading an archived cache will create a dedicated database connection and data sinks to forward through.
This fix helps ensure the practice of backfill connections is still possible for Ignition 8.3 and future Ignition versions that useSQL historians.
An optional extendedProperties parameter has been added to the system.historian.queryAggregatedPoints() function. This fixes an issue where, previously, querying points using the Count aggregation mode from the SQL Historian resulted in inflated aggregate counts.
As a result you now have better control of your raw data point counts when using the Count aggregation mode.
You can now send error reporting to multiple people at once. The “To Address” field under Platform > Gateway Settings > Error Reporting will now accept a semicolon-delimited list of email addresses:
And lastly, you can now adjust HTTP client and thread pool settings on the Gateway Network’s General Settings page with the addition of the following:
Data Channel Thread Pool Initial Size setting:
HTTP Client Max Allow Connections setting:
Previously, these settings could only be changed through additional wrapper properties. But now you can rely on HTTP Client Max Allow Connections to properly match a connection pool size to any configured thread pool count.

Ignition 8.3.11 is scheduled to be released in mid-November.
