Gateway web interface shows this banner on a gateway with full Perspective, and various other licenses, but a couple modules in trial mode:
Unfortunately, when trial period expires, nothing changes. The trial expired banner does NOT show and there doesn’t seem to be anywhere in the web interface where trial can be reset as shown in docs.
Am I missing something or is this a known issue / new bug?
@Kevin.Herron, I thought restarting the Ignition server process would restart the trial, but no luck. Is there any workaround while awaiting 8.3.4 Stable? Or do we need to try 8.3.4 RC1?
Thanks, @David_Stone. Before my original post above, I played with this a bit (http://yourServer:8088/data/api/v1/trial). Get works, but no luck with Post. It’s possible I missed something, but the closest I got with post when attempting this on 8.3.3 was 403 Forbidden (from Browser Dev Tools) and 401 Unauthorized (from Designer Script Console).
I ended up installing 8.3.4 RC1 to get this reset.
