seems confirmed that Ignition 8.3 will support Siemens S7+. Can someone tell if the driver will also support TLS communication with certificate?

Yes that should be supported, though it's handled transparently and not something that is exposed to configuration. But we have tested/confirmed that it works.

You don't need to do anything on the Ignition side, the driver connects with security by default, and falls back to attempting an unsecured connection if that doesn't work.

Thank you Kevin! I was not aware of this “native” behaviour of S7+ driver on Igniiton. I’ll share those info with the customer and if necessary I’ll be back. They were talking something about “.pem” certificate to Export from the PLC, so I was thinking there was something to import on Ignition side:
