I need to run Ignition 8 on Java 10 to be able to run a legacy OSI PI JDBC driver.

Is this possible?

No, Ignition 8 requires Java 11.

Why don’t you use the newest version of the OSI PI JDBC driver?

PI JDBC Driver 2019 works with Java 11

PI JDBC Driver 2019 is not compatible with existing PI SQL Data Access server.
