Ignition 8 Perspective Problems

I just started to try and use Ignition Perspective on version 8.0.2 but absolutely whatever I do the designer freezes and either timeout or closes by it self. Whenever I try and create a new window the blank window itself has a really hard time loading.

may apply. It might also be because the ‘environment’ of the PC which you are using is otherwise unsuitable. When you open a command window, and type “Version” at the ‘C:’ prompt, what version of Windows is given ( or are you using a Mac or Linux? ). How much memory is allocated to clients? Are you using a machine that has an authentication problem? There is info about that if you google OAuth, though I took a different tack and installed Office/Outlook and a ‘secure-id’. Finally, there is a place here where you could get support ( free e-mail -or- priority e-mail/voice with account, see policies ): https://support.inductiveautomation.com If you do call, you might first want to write down the following: 1. Version of Operating System ( as above, 64 bit or 32 ) 2. Memory allocated 3.Java versions 4. Databases other than internal (‘built-in’ to Ignition) 5. Any virtual software involved eg. VMWare.

definitely contact support, or post system information here as suggested by @jlivingston. What you are experiencing is definitely unusual, so we’ll have to do some troubleshooting to figure out why.
