Ignition 8 Serial Communication

Hello,

I’m looking for a way to use serial communication within ignition 8.
I used the Serial Support Modules in many projects but they are no longer supported with Ignition 8.
I was looking alternative way.
Tried to install the javax.comm jar library (simply copied in lib/core/…) with no results.
[Edit] Even tried packaging the jar with pack200 but still no results

Can somoene show me an usefull way?

They are still packaged with Ignition v8. I haven’t gotten around to testing them, but I think they are expected to work. What difficulties have you encountered?

They are not installed with a fresh ignition 8 installation.
I cant’ find where to download them (Ignitin 8 version)
And there’s no way to install 7.10 versions
