Ignition Alarm Journal Table: Display Associated Data + Customize Column Headers?

Hi all,

I’m using the Alarm Journal Table component (Ignition Vision 8.3) and I have two questions:

  1. Associated Data in Alarm Journal Table
    Is it possible to display the alarm’s Associated Data / Alarm Event Data (the custom event data stored with journal entries) as columns inside the Alarm Journal Table itself?

  • If yes, what’s the recommended approach ?

  • If not directly, what’s the best workaround to show that data alongside each journal row?

  1. Change Column Header Names
    Can we rename the column headers shown in the Alarm Journal Table UI (for example changing “Event Time” to “Start Time”, “Source” to “Equipment”, etc.)?
  • Is there a built-in property for header text overrides?
