Ignition Alarm Pipeline - Email

Hi everyone,

A random question about alarm pipelines.

I have configured an alarm pipeline to send emails when an alarm occurs. I have tested it from the gateway and I have received the email correctly (so the email settings are configured correctly). However, when the alarm is active, I do not receive the email. I have checked the Pipeline status in the gateway and I can see the alarms.

The pipeline notifies the Operators, and my email is part of the operator's group. And as mentioned, I have tested that in the gateway and it works.

Can someone tell me what else can I check? What could be the reasons?

Make sure "Acknowledged" Dropout condition is turned off in your pipeline if your alarm is set to auto ack or not used.

Hi, thanks for the response. Where would I check that in the pipeline? Can't seem to find it.

In the editor, open the pipeline, it should be the first thing that pops up in the Pipeline Block editor option without any of the blocks selected.
