Ignition and HAProxy

Hi there, a client of mine has a setup using Ignition 8 and HAProxy. They don't have any in-house expertise for HAProxy and are looking for consultants who have experience with HAProxy and Ignition together, to help them out with a few things now and on an on-going ad-hoc basis. Ideally the consultant also has some experience with Keycloak in the same context. If you believe you can help out or know someone who can, please comment and we will take it from there.

Hi, just bumping this for one last try to find someone who can help.

This is an area where I'd expect an LLM to actually do very well. A lot of modern dev-ops tools are well suited to being managed/set up via command line, and are incredibly easy to set up via a Claude/Codex/Antigravity/et al.

I've used HAProxy with Ignition v8.1 just fine and I dont' suspect anything would change with v8.3. Are they trying to use it with LetsEncrypt or to offload SSL/TLS?

Can confirm. Had Gemini/Antigravity set up HAProxy for my local Ignition and set up SSO with PocketId in an afternoon.

Yes AI may be able to help, but my client don't have any team members who work with AI at the moment. Another consultancy set all this up but aren't able to support it anymore. It's set up to add MFA to Ignition, which works well, but some things need maintenance over time and a few things, like handling SSL, need fixing now. If you know anyone, it'd be much appreciated.

I am looking for ad-hoc work like this, but have zero experience with HA Proxy or Keycloak, so I’m assuming I would be disqualified.

You probably need someone with heavier network experience than Ignition experience. The Ignition end is probably fairly straightforward for any network expert.

Hi Lane, yeah the team really needs someone experienced with these tools, so I am afraid it isn't a viable option for now. All the best.

I've sent you a PM but I haven't received a response. I have experience with HAProxy both with standard websites, but also with Ignition from access to the gateway as well as using it with MQTT to offload SSL/TLS encryption for both.
