Ignition and OPC DA with ABB - E_NOINTERFACE

I have a ignition gateway V8.1.43, connecting to an ABB AC800M PLC via the ABB's OPC DA server.
The OPC DA server is running on the same gateway as the Ignition GW.
I'm getting the connection up and running, I can browse the plc with the designer tag browser, and I'm getting the data, so far all good.

But I'm also getting spammed in the Diagnostics logs with the following error message once the server initializes:

the message "E_NOINTERFACE(No support for this interface)

Once the connection is up, the following warnings are constantly filling the Diagnostics Logs.

Any idea what can be done to get these warnings under control?

Shamelessly bumping this up.
Anyone had any experience with these errors?
It does seem that when opening pages that shows these datapoints, not all of them updates. Causing some templates to display errors as they are missing data.
At the moment we are only running a demo project using the ABBs OPC DA server, but that will change in the not so distant future, so getting rid of this issue would be critical.
