Ignition and Sybase (iAnywhere 11)

Hi,

I need to connect to a Sybase (rather Advantage Database Server). I follow old thread with WinCC etc. and try the following :

  • get the latest jtds jar
  • create a new driver
  • load the jtds-1.3.0.jar
  • put net.sourceforge.jtds.jdbc.Driver as classname

and I end up with a “Cannot load JDBC driver class ‘net.sourceforge.jtds.jdbc.Driver’” error.

Do you get any other error messages in the logs? What version of Ignition are you running?
