I am using chart inside a report.
My chart looks cramped (time axis compressed) on one report, but OK on another date selection.
Any idea why it could be?

Is the data coming from a Tag History Data Source? It looks like interpolation is pulling in the last value from before your requested start time.
It may just be a coincidence that the second chart looks better, in that the timestamp of the last Step No change occurred closer to the requested start time.
