I am currently working on the project where I need to integrate CIMCO MDC-Max with Ignition. CIMCO provides better connectivity to CNC machines and has all the inbuilt capabilities for downtime analysis, utilization etc.
From the overall available modules in both Ignition and CIMCO, the best possible way I can see is to directly connect to the CIMCO database and build the reports based on it. CIMCO's database works similar to Ignition Historian.
What will be the best option to see the real time data / state of the machine in this scenario?

I saw your question and am curious if you have managed solve the integration between Ignition and Cimco and if so, in what way? I am in the similar situation to visualize real time data using Ignition based in Cimco machine data (and other sources).
