Ignition communication to BacNet MS/TP using BASrouterLX

I wonder if anyone has set up a Contemporary Control's BASrouterLX-B device on Ignition to connect to a device that only communicates through BacNet MS/TP. I currently have a project that needs to use the points on the MS/TP device on a Vision application to test the functionality of the unit it is being used as the controller. Any help configuring the router's configuration setting and the Ignition device connection both local and remote would be appreciated.

I have solved the case by using YABE and understanding the BAS router configuration and also the key significance of the device instance.

I was doing the following incorrectly:

  1. using the wrong device id on ignition for the remote device
  2. I did not have the MAC address on the router set to 0 which indicates that Iā€™m using MS/TP
  3. Added my slave controller Mac and device is to the slave proxy table.
  4. Removed the BBMD ip address and unchecked FDR on Ignition but enabled it in the router.
  5. The local device on ignition has the device instance of the router while the remote device uses the device is of the slave controller.
