Ignition data from MySQL

Hello guys,

I have a question regarding the MySQL default database that is connected to Ignition. Our database server is very low on disk and we want to delete some data.

I noticed that the “ProgramData” folder from MySQL saves data month by month in form of: .IBD, .FRM

My question is:

This data is the historical data for each month? Or is the data for all the months from the beggining?

Can I delete this data or copy them on another server and acces them only if we need to?

Thank you!!

Why not setup pruning, let Ignition delete on it’s own? Pruning is turned off by default, turn it on and then set the age to what you think you will need.
