Ignition designer not getting the Float value

Hi,

Can I please get assistance to resolve the below issue?
We are trying to move a DNP3 analog value to the ignition from the Brodersen worksuite (Pic-1).
In the ignition DNP3 configuration, the Analog Input Point is set to "Float".
If we change a value in Brodersen and create the OPC tag the first time, it shows the exact value we have in Brodersen (Pic-2).
But when we change the value again in the Brodersen, the Gateway don't get the values after the decimal point (Pic-3)

Brodersen Worksuite setting (Pic-1)

Tag in ignition reading the same value as in the Brodersen (Pic-2)

Tag in ignition does not show the values after the decimal point (Pic-3)

Can you get a Wireshark capture of the DNP3 traffic between Ignition and this outstation?

Hi Kevin,

Thanks for the swift reply.
Please see attached wireshark capture.
wireshark capture.pcapng (868.7 KB)

IP address of ignition gateway is 10.111.204.12
Brodersen RTU is 10.111.204.31
IP address of the machine where both Brodersen and Ignition gateway is installed is 10.111.204.13.
Please let me know if you need more information.

Regards
Ramninder

I don't see any DNP3 traffic in this capture. What computer was it made from? What port is being used?

Hi Kevin,

Looks like its an issue with the Brodersen RTU. Please see below Pic.Thanks for your help.

Does look like that. Do they have a support department you can contact?

Hi Kevin,

I got help from a colleague with more experience working with Brodersen, and we made it work by changing the Static and Event variation values in Brodersen..

Thanks
