I have a local docker container always running the latest version of Ignition using the docker latest tag, to help me identify update issue.
Today, the latest tag switched from 8.3 to 8.1.50.
Is it a wanted behavior, for some reason, or is it a bug with 8.1 update still change the tag?
Hmm, this sounds like a bug to me. Let me ask around.
Yep, not intentional, somebody is working on fixing the tag so it points to 8.3 again.

We took a look at this and it looks like our fix for image tagging (we did think ahead, fwiw 
) was applied to our 8.1 branch after our release branch for 8.1.50 was created. So while it got us for this release, it shouldn't happen again. Thanks again @calimero100582 for bringing it to our attention.
