Ignition Edge Backup Gateway not posting to Remote Gateway

I have been testing several pairs of redundant Ignition Edge Gateways on different devices with them all using Tag History Sync to post to a remote Ignition Gateway. Most work well, but one pair is having an unique issue among them. The pair initially worked, but after forcing a re-sync from the master to the backup, the backup will no longer post data to the remote server. It takes over the active role, and I can see it logging data locally. It is just refusing to post to the remote server. The remote server shows both in its Gateway Network, and both Edge gateways are configured in the remote server’s Security Zones. The Tag History Sync is configured the same on both the master and backup gateway. Ignition Edge version is 7.9.10. It is part of the firmware on this device, and is the latest that has been released by the vendor.

This might be due to an issue with the logic used to track the ID used by the syncing system internally. If you’re comfortable in the internal database, you could try setting the syncid in the localhistoriansync table to 0 - or, contact support, and they should be able to help you out.

That fixed it. Thanks!
