I have a Client running an ignition gateway and an edge gateway and want to send historized data from the edge gateway to the standard gateway. Do I need a outgoing connection from the edge to the standard or vice versa? Both?
Just need to establish a gateway connection from the Edge to the main Ignition Gateway.
Also make sure to change security settings to allow remote access to the historian on your Ignition gateway, this is in service security.
Thanks, did you find that edge doesn't ship with a self-signed SSH certificate?
If you go to certificates, and fill out all the details you can install a self-signed certificate on the device.
