What limitations does Ignition Edge have with a licence?
Does it have device connections and tag limits?
Does it limit the number of perspective sessions?

It depends on the licensed edition as well as any modifications you may have negotiated when buying it… it’s gotten a bit complicated to accommodate a range of use cases. It’s probably best to talk to a sales person about what you might need from it.
So it is possible to buy Ignition Edge without the two device connection limit?
Yes, it’s possible. I don’t know if that’s an edition thing or just a custom detail you can negotiate.
It’s $100 per extra device beyond the standard two, so you quickly reach a point where full-fledged Ignition makes more sense
