We are using Edge with Enterprise (Sync Services) to sync our alarm history to a remote gateway. It has been working fine through all our testing. The Edge device was powered down for an extended period of time, roughly one week. When it was powered up again, all of the tags and alarm status were working. The system appeared to the be working correctly. It was discovered that the alarm history was not syncing. Clicking the Sync Reset on the gateway configuration page fixed the syncing, and the store and forward capability pushed the missed alarms to the remote gateway.
Our concern comes from how can we monitor if the remote syncing is “working”, aka is Edge in store and forward mode? And if it is, is there a way to script the sync reset function?
