Hello,
I’m using an older version of Ignition 7.6.4. The email alerts we used to receive stopped once we tried switching to a new mail server. The server itself has been checked and there’s no problem there. I noticed that system doesn’t log any errors for how we have it set up which leads me to believe it is connecting OK. Assuming Ignition can connect to an email server will there be a message in the logs indicating this? I know it will log an error if it can’t connect because I’ve changed the settings to something I know won’t work and it logs an error. Someone suggested trying to use SSL to connect, but using this option with ports 25, 465, and 587 all give errors. Any suggestions? Is this version of Ignition obsolete and we just need to consider an upgrade?
