running ignition Edge on K8s , how to keep the licenens key , we delete ignition pod and deploy it again . noticed the lic key not accepted and get this error **Unable to activate License .**There was a problem processing the entered code.
what’s the best practices and how to maintains the key with k8s , i am using ignition Edge 8.3.0
Did you deactive the license before deleting the Ignition pod and trying to redeploy? Call support. They can directly handle license issues for you, they have in the past for me.
Do you have a leased license key? (8 characters) Or a permanent license key? (6 characters)
Kubernetes and other container technologies need a leased license key. If you have the wrong kind, contact your sales agent.
There are also settings you can use with leased licenses to recover them quickly by releasing the lease on gateway shutdown (instead of waiting, ~4hrs IIRC).
