I just want to check, once a license is activated can I still use that license again or do I need to buy another one if I want to use ignition on a different pc?
Generally your license is for the activation of 1 gateway on 1 computer. Each gateway needs its own license.
You can run the Designer and Vision Clients targeting a single gateway from as many computers as you want, though.
is there no alternative for this? the client wants to use their license on a different pc but they also dont want to deactivate the one on their local
Sounds like they want 2 Ignitions… why would they expect to get 1 for free?
Do they need one just for development/staging?
