Ignition on Linux and OPC DA server on Windows Machine

We are trying to connect and old process PC and write a few values to it but this is obviously not native to Ignition on Linux.

Is the only solution the one on threads from a few years ago to use Matrikon’s Wrapper (which has now been integrated into their tunneler), or has Inductive Automation come up with their own solution?

Thanks in Advance.

We have an OPC COM tunneler module available in the downloads section. You’d install just the Ignition gateway, the OPC UA module, OPC COM module, and tunneler module on the windows machine and then make a connection.

It might be easier to just use the Matrikon or Kepware tunnelers though…

Hi Kevin, thanks for the reply, we will looking both.
