Hi all. Still a complete noob but I'm learning a lot. I've got an Axis IP camera working fine with a VideoPlayer component on the designer/gateway. However, when I try to use my phone to test the project, the camera feed says, "Error Loading Media: No file configured".
I have a lot to learn, but if anyone has any ideas, I'm here for it. Thanks.
Also; the rest of the project works fine on my phone.(local network, no vpn yet.)
Are you running the designer in a user session on the gateway machine? If so, don't do that. Not only does it stress the gateway with a local memory hog, but localhost URLs often behave strangely.
Run your designer elsewhere, and run test client browsers elsewhere, before blaming the mobile app. (Where elsewhere includes the network the mobile device is connecting from.)
Ok. IP camera still shows live video feed on an adjacent designer laptop on the local network.
It works now. It was not an issue about the designer being on the gateway, I could see it on an adjacent designer laptop. The solution turned out to be moving the URL of the IP camera to the source. I had it landed in the HTTP binding area.
