[IGN-7833] Ignition Perspective Views

Hello,

Ignition 8.1.44 is the version in question.

I have noticed some odd behavior and wondering if others have seen it. I have two projects on the same gateway. When I open a view in designer in project 1 that view shows open in project 2. The views have the same name in both projects, but this behavior seems odd and confusing to me.

Any thoughts are appreciated.

I think this is a bug and you should open a ticket with support to officially report it.

Inaccurate Concurrent Edit/Overlapping Resource notification

Version: 8.1.32 I'm working to integrate SAP batch handling into a client's Ignition Projects. They have multiple projects on a single Gateway. I've created a script in each project named "SAP_Integration". What I'm seeing is if I have a designer open to the "SAP_Integration" script in 'ProjectA', and I open a designer for 'ProjectB', it will show the "Concurrent User" icon for the "SAP_Integration" script in the 'ProjectB' designer. I worked with Frank on the ticket he created.

From looking at Frank's case and a replication, this issue occurs when opening more than one Designer Session for a single project against the same gateway. This will result in the behavior as Frank describes as well as the other project designers displaying an incorrect number of concurrent users.

We have a ticket to address this issue, IGN-7833, but this behavior was not noted on the ticket. I'll see about adding this behavior there for future reference.
