I was trying to copy the existing project (replicating the original project and renaming it for backup purpose) in ignition gateway. But while copying it, i am getting the error shown in pic.
Could anyone know why I am getting this error? Even renaming the project name, it is showing similar error "Failed to rename the project".
Are you sure you have room on the install disk?
Yes . Even to rename the project name its shows same kind of issue "Failed to rename the project". I am assuming renaming the project name is not related with room available in the installed disk
This sounds like a folder permissions issue at the OS level. Did you change the user that runs the Ignition background service? Or change ownership of the install folder? Or some combination of the above that would deny the Ignition process access to its own install folder?
What shows up in the wrapper log when you do these operations?

One thing i have noticed, failed error is not happening for all the project available while copying. E.g. In the attached image, i noticed that when i try to copy the Mes gateway project it gets copied without any error. But when i try to copy the atom project it shows me a failed error as atom project have already few errors.
I think this is the reason behind to get 'failed copy error'
Yes, likely. You need to click on the "+" sign on those log entries to get full details.
