Hi there,
we use Ignition 8.1. Would we require another copy of license if we decide to use this Ignition in another country besides US?
Thank you

Not if the remote location is connecting (remotely) to the same server.
This is NOT recommended with direct PLC drivers due to latency. Instead, you should use MQTT, or a local instance of Ignition (which can have more basic functions), which has the platform to hold the necessary drivers to locally poll the PLCs. You can also use Edge to talk to PLCs local and sync Edge and Standard Ignition.
It depends what you mean by this.
If there is only one Ignition Gateway installed, you can certainly launch Designers, Clients, or Perspective Sessions from anywhere without additional licenses, it doesn't matter where that Ignition Gateway exists (except for technical reasons as @Matrix_Engineering is suggesting).
If you mean to install a second Ignition Gateway then yes, you need an additional license.
we do use MQTT.
Well then, you just need Edge nodes (any location in the world), to publish to your (central/HQ) MQTT broker.
