Hello,
I have one question regarding azure data connectivity in ignition,
Is direct connectivity is possible in Ignition latest version or not(As like other database SQL, PostGres etc.)?
If Yes, then how it will happen through ignition gateway?
This could be related.
Thank you , Above GitHub repository is beneficial, I have taken .modl latest version file and added in ignition gateway by install/upgrade module and connectivity is done in ignition gateway, Also in designer launcher in tag browser added new tag (New standard tag -> Query tag) and select History : true & in Providername : select appropriate name that is given in ignition gateway page ,
Now, how can I show my created databases or tables(That is already in azure data explorer) in perspective view or in ignition gateway page?
Using named query is it possible?
Or any scripting is required for that?
Just wanted to see data of that particular database or table.
Thanks.
In this above git repo I have install/upgrade *.modl file that is useful.
Now, using script is it possible to receive data(database and table that is created in ADX)??
I have created one view in perspective view in which button onclick event just want to get 2-3 record form existing created table, but it is giving some error of missing some dependent files.
I have also added required .jar files under ..\Ignition\lib\core\common , and again restart ignition but it is not worked, got this error
def runAction(self, event):
import system
import traceback
query = "tablename | top 2"
historyProvider = "ADXHistoryProvider"
database = "database_name"
try:
system.util.getLogger("KustoQuery").info("Executing Kusto query: " + query)
result = system.kusto.query(historyProvider, database, query)
system.util.getLogger("KustoQuery").info("Kusto query result: " + str(result))
table = self.getSibling("Table")
table.props.data = system.dataset.toDataSet(result)
except Exception as e:
system.util.getLogger("KustoQuery").error("Error executing Kusto query: " + str(e))
system.util.getLogger("KustoQuery").error(traceback.format_exc())
Can I missed anything here?
Thanks,
Swati
I haven't used it personally, but maybe somebody can ping Travis since it
s his repo?
Ok sure, Thanks for helping.
