Ignition tag historization when date range is less than historization rate

Hello,

If i am historizating a tag say every 3 hours but then I query the tag historization for that specific tag with a start and end date of 1 hr would I not get any values since its being historization at a rate of every 3 hours? Or would it interpolate and still give me a value for date ranges less than an 3 hours

This depends on a lot of factors, including how the tag is set up for storage and how you are querying for data, but generally the answer is that you will get an interpolated value.
