I’m exploring the possibility of storing tag metadata. This includes all the properties of the tag that aren’t stored by the tag historian (e.g. units).
I’ve explored the possibility of doing this through MQTT Recorder, but this only stores tag values. Another idea is the Kymera InfluxDB module, have Ignition users had success using this approach?
Any thoughts on options? Thank you for any advice on how to proceed.
