Ignition Upgrade Crashed

I was following the instructions here to upgrade my Ignition Cloud Gateway. The install failed midway through. It was an absolute nightmare to get it kind of working. Luckily I had made a backup prior to the upgrade. I've gotten a lot of the gateway working again by deleting everything in the /usr/local/bin/ignition folder and then using a backup to restore the gateway, but there is still something wrong.

I used this installer: https://files.inductiveautomation.com/release/ia/8.3.7/20260609-0922/ignition-cloud-8.3.7-linux-64-installer.run. I don't know what else to do if this is the results of me doing a clean install and restoring from a backup.

It's good you made a backup. That is always something you should do.

I'd recommend calling support so they can look through your system and figure out what happened.

Chatgpt saved the day. It recommended since I am using Nginx Proxy Manager that it might have cached data from before the clean install. I cleared my browser cache and sure enough that fixed the issue. I can now access all pages.
