I think I can just delete the .ignition folder as it looks like its just the settings for all of the gateways I've logged into but I wanted to check before doing so.
It also contains the cache for all the jars you regularly use from the different gateways to which you connect. Look in the cache for stale gateways and delete those first.
Are you sure you want to delete launcher configurations? (It will break all shortcuts.)
(Ignition will re-download anything it needs--designer and Vision Clients and Workstation all run from the cache.)

It's probably the cache folder you would want to delete.

so I can just delete the cache folder? I deleted all of the folders that had dates older than 2024 inside of the cache folder. if I can just delete the cache folder, that makes it easier. thanks!
Like Phil said, when a Client or Designer is launched anything needed but not cached will just get downloaded again.
