Incompatible Gateway Version in Ignition Maker Edition

Hello,

I’m using Ignition Maker Edition and installed the latest versions of both the Ignition Gateway and the Ignition Designer Launcher today, directly from the Gateway page. However, when I try to connect the Designer Launcher to the Gateway, I get an error saying:

Incompatible gateway version

I’ve tried:

  • Reinstalling the Designer Launcher.
  • Clearing the cache folder in C:\Users\Username\.ignition.
  • Running the Designer Launcher as an administrator.
  • Connecting manually using http://localhost:8088 and http://127.0.0.1:8088.

But the problem persists. Any advice on how to resolve this?

What is the error in the Details?
Is your Ignition Service running?

The output from C:\Program Files\Inductive Automation\ignition\logs\wrapper.log (or wherever you installed it to) might be helpful here too.
