initialChange question

Hi, I’m working with Gateway TagChange Scripts and I’ve noticed that when I Save and Publish the proyect and the gateway scripts restarts tags executes an initial change, but when I restart the Gateway they do not execute an initialChange.

Is that the way that initialChange behaves?

Then I’ve tried writing those tags using an Startup Gateway Script, the writing performed fine but my TagChange Script does not start either, why is that?

Yes, this is the way the initialChange is supposed to behave. Some tag change events are purposefully blocked on startup because of the order that the systems start up and there is no workaround for it. This has to do with the way the tags are set up internally and there are unfortunately no plans to change it.
