Injection molding machine Milacron crash issue

I had connected couple Milacron molding machines to Ignition via OPC UA protocol. But this brand machine encountered crash issue occasionally, the machine screen didn’t work and had to reboot machine.

This issue happened after machine connected with Ignition. And manufacturer suggested to upgrade a faster CPU with changing the Mosasic operating unit, but the cost is too much to afford.

Would like to know anyone has similar experience for this issue, any suggestions. Thanks.

Unfortunately they seem to be using Windows on those panels, so I'm not surprised you have issues with performance. I have had lots of issues on embedded HMIs that run windows as they get older.
