Interrupt an infinite loop in python script?

I have system.util.logger placed in my script and I can see I accidently created an infinite loop. Is there a way I can interrupt it? I tried restarting designer but this didnt work for me.

I thought I had been able to kill someone else's infinite loop scripts using the gateway's Status | Diagnostics | Running Scripts | Cancel. This didn't require a gateway restart as far as I can remember.
