Hello everyone,
we are evaluating the introduction of Ignition in a real industrial environment (ceramic/terracotta manufacturing).
This is not a job position, but a project-based collaboration.
Context:
-
existing production lines with PLCs (mainly Omron)
-
need for real-time data acquisition and production monitoring
-
integration with ERP (Microsoft Business Central)
-
interest in a scalable architecture (potentially MQTT-based)
What we are looking for:

solid experience with Ignition (Perspective preferred)
-
OPC UA / PLC integration (Omron is a plus)
-
database design for production data (historian, KPI, traceability)
-
ability to define a robust and maintainable system architecture
Scope:
-
initial phase: architecture definition and system setup
-
possible extension to implementation and scaling
Location:
We are preferably looking for someone based in Italy (Tuscany is a plus), or at least available for occasional on-site visits.
Important:
we are not looking for generic developers or first-time Ignition users.
Real project experience is required.
