When the perspective page is logged in, the user source of the project is modified to be the local database, but the user who logs in the project is still the default user source.

Perspective uses Identity Providers for authentication. In the designer’s Project => Properties menu, in the Perspective section, check which IdP is set. Then in the gateway web interface config page, go to the Identity Providers page under the Security section on the left side nav. If the IdP assigned to your perspective project is an Ignition type of IdP, check which user source it is pointing to by editing its settings. It’s likely still pointing to the other user source.
