Is there a way to add IO-Link and/or standard output(4-20mA) sensors to Ignition without involving a PLC for example through kepware, I have been trying to find an answer for this question, your help is appreciated.
You should look at the Advantech ADAM-6017 and ADAM-6224 analog I/O modules. These use Modbus TCP and are usable with Ignition out of the box. There are similar products from Phoenix Contact that might fit the bill too. (I haven’t used the latter, myself, but they look pretty good.)
